For world champions and Olympic winners, the Kieler Woche regatta is an absolute must. “Anyone who is out to win Olympic Gold has to be able to win at the Kieler Woche,” is common parlance in sailing circles. Last year, Tutima acted as sponsor and “Official Timekeeper at the Kieler Woche Regattas” for the fourth year in succession. More than 5000 contestants from 50 different nations and around 2000 boats will take part in the races from June 21-29, 2008. Kieler Woche is the largest sailing regatta in the world and celebrates its 125th anniversary this year.

One of the sporting highlights of the Kieler Woche is the X-35 European Championship.The new European Champion crew will receive a Tutima DI 300 water sports watch featuring yellow dial, X-35 logo and a specially engraved logo.
