The new Grand Classic Reserve – and the Grand Classic Ladies

Anyone who has created a classic is not only entitled to be proud of the achievement, but also to show its satisfaction. Tutima now crowns its success story of aviation watchmaking with new highlights, based on the model of the historic Flieger Chronograph of 1941.

The new Grand Classic Reserve provides a perfect overview of all functions and comes with a black dial, the ultimate expression of elegant understatement. In addition to its consistent focus on functionality, the 43-mm case also has room for nostalgia: the coin-edge rotating bezel with large polished sections and the red reference mark, a faithful replica of the original, appear to make time stand still for a moment. The power reserve display of the ETA 2892-A2/Tutima movement, however, serves as a useful reminder that time marches inexorably on and has to be carefully allotted.

The new Grand Classic Ladies is a truly beautiful sequel to the line that was launched in 2010: the distinctive bezel is studded with 52 hand-set diamonds weighing a total of 1.33 carats. The striking style is enhanced by an iridescent mother-of-pearl dial and white alligator skin strap. This new feminine addition to Tutima’s traditionally male collection exudes perfect sophistication combined with absolute clarity and precision.

Each Grand Classic testifies to the stringent standards imposed by the Tutima brand, which has meanwhile returned to its roots in Glashütte: to remain true to the original whilst utilizing all the benefits of cutting-edge technology and contemporary materials.
